Seasonal Workshops

For Every Body

Seasonal Workshops

Our bodies understand and feel the passage of time. One day we step outside and we can smell Spring is coming. The wet smell of Autumn. Something cooler in the wind. Our bodies sense the change in the wind, the soil. The light becomes different. The feel of jumpers along our forearms or the feeling of warm summer air bathing our limbs.

Ritual, and the marking of time, of witnessing, of unfolding, of slowing down enough to move with what is here can be very helpful. And it can be radical. In a world that wants to do achieve more, produce more, to go against the wisdom of our bodies and abuse our landscapes, stopping to notice the absolute wonder of a leaf, our bodies, of how it’s all connected can be incredibly powerful. We may begin to feel a little more whole.

These mornings are wonderful, nourishing mornings to breathe a little deeper, to move and to rest.

These mornings draw upon my learnings from Yoga and TCM. Movement to move with the seasons. Rest to listen inwards. There is often poetry interwoven throughout. Poetry can sometimes connect us to parts of ourselves we had forgotten.

yoga to remember, to connect, to encourage flow and freedom of movement and to bring a felt sense of calm, joy and ease.
