Spaces are currently available!
These classes incorporate simple breath-work and gentle movement to soften and enliven. These classes provide space to connect with your body, relieve some of the bodily stresses of motherhood and, perhaps, provide some humour and good company too.
If you are experiencing anything like post natal depression, anxiety, prolapse, diastasis recti or anything else at all then meeting me before class for a 1-to-1 would be highly beneficial so that I can look after you as best I can. Please email me: info@alexnewtonyoga.com to talk more!
ALL babies are welcome - from newborn babies to walking babies.
Practical things:
The entrance to the Church of the Nazarene is on Northcote road. On street parking is available.
There is on street parking available next to The Heeley Institute.
Your baby may cry a lot and that’s totally ok - please feel free to tend to them, and you, just as you would at home. We are here for all of it. xxx
Snacks and teas are provided
Feel free to bring anything you want for you or your baby including prams, toys etc into the space.
Feel free to arrive late or early, flustered, anxious, joyful, knackered! YOU are so welcome. x

Movement to help soothe and strengthen lower back discomfort, upper back tension, pelvic girdle pain (PGP), SPD, shortness of breath, rib pain, tension and anxiety.

A place for everyone to come together.
Come during your pregnancy - from day 1 until birth.
Come back when you’ve had your baby and be in community with those that are pregnant, had their babies very recently, or had their baby many moons ago. Suitable to bring your (non crawling) babies - as the space is quite small!
